Band Booster Meeting
- Tuesday, September 20th  7:00 pm in the Band Room.

Schedule for Thurs and Friday

Thurs students will need to return to the school at 5:30. No after school rehearsal this day. We will load and leave at 5:45 Don't be late!
Friday, students will be asked not to leave the school for we will be using our 2nd pre-paid meal. The students will eat a meal from Shane's Rib Shack in the cafeteria at 3:30. We will load and leave for Northridge at 4:30

It’s your lucky week to chaperone the band this Friday, Sept 23 for our game against Northridge at Northridge. Please respond to my email whether or not you are planning to attend. Chaperones need to arrive at the school on Friday, Sept 23 at 4:15. We will be departing at 4:30, so please be on time.

8th Grade Exhibition

Thursday night is our 8th grade exhibition at OMMS. The students will be required to be back at the school at 5:30. We will load and leave at 5:45.

I am not taking chaperones to this event just the weekly staff of sponsors, bus captains and liaisons. As you know we will perform our show between the 7th and 8th football game.

Uniforms

As usual, please remember your bandos, black socks, gloves and t-shirt for Thursday night and Friday night. (Here is where having two t-shirts comes in handy).

Liz Scibetta has volunteered to help on Thursday and Paula Turner and Kathy Anderson have volunteered for Friday night. We have our first dry cleaning scheduled for next week. They will be returning on Thursday afternoon so we will need to put them all back together on Friday (No pressure)

I will need as many hands as I can get for this so PLEASE consider helping with this. If you only have an hour to help, we can still use you. That is Friday, Sept. 30 at 9:00. They will be clean for the ballgame and our first competition is the next day. Thanks so much for all your help.

2011 AU Marching Honor Band

Congratulations to all three of our majorettes for their selection to Auburn Honor Band on Sept 24, along with M. Parent and M. Monnette!
